We’re in town visiting my father for Christmas. This is where he wanted to go for dinner at my treat. I was a little skeptical going to a chain at a mall for good Italian! I was pleasantly surprised! Ambiance and noise level were good even though it was packed since it was the day after Christmas!! After a small glitch after we were first seated the service was great! The food was fantastic as well!! Very tasty and prepared perfectly!! Drinks were plentiful as well!! Price point was very reasonable as well! I’d recommend and would ho again!

The Palm always delivers. We went here for Christmas lunch. Everything was well prepared. The service was attentive but not intrusive. I have been eating here for 24 years and it is one of my favorite places to dine in Charlotte. Other steakhouses will come and go, but this place will always be a focal point of Charlotte dining.

So glad we decided to have Christmas Eve dinner at The Jimmy. Wasn’t sure what to expect on this holiday evening, but the restaurant was full with a lively, happy crowd, and the always-friendly staff were in good spirits. Perfectly cooked salmon with a soft, moist interior and crispy skin outside. Nicely charred pizza with mushrooms and arugula. And a winning Sangiovese to wash it all down. What else do you need ?

We visited on a Tuesday, Despite the moderately small number of patrons the service seemed a little slow. The wait staff was pleasant enough but not especially efficient. Making multiple trips to refill water or take one drink order at a time. We had to suggest we were ready to order. Drinks took a while to be delivered though I could see them sitting on the bar. Once we placed our food order it was prepared quickly and the taste was amazing. The Pecan glazed salmon with broccolini was some of the best.
