- OTOpenTable DinerHawaii •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoHad lunch here with the ladies today. It was our first time and we all enjoyed it. We ordered the Biscuits in a bag with jam and the truffle fries for appetizer. Couple ladies tried and loved their cocktail “A Honu World”. For lunch we had the Smashed Burger, prime Rib Moco, Chicken Pot Pie, Fresh Fish Sandwich and their version of the Saimin. Then for dessert we had the bread pudding, coconut lime sorbet, coffee and vanilla ice cream. The sorbet was delicious and refreshing and my fish sandwich was moist and oh so yummy! Our server Dylan ( I’m sorry, I hope I got that right) was helpful and attentive. Service and food are 5 stars!More infoMerriman's HonoluluPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Honolulu•4.7
- DDexterSacramento / Sacramento Valley •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFood was delicious, and loved the ambiance with the live music, dim lighting, and the restaurant being right next to the ocean. Me and my wife went on Valentine’s Day and we were able to get in right at our reservation time. She had the margarita pizza and I had the ribeye with jalapeño mashed potatoes and Swiss chard. The jalapeño mashed potatoes were incredible and so was the rib eye, which was cooked perfectly medium and tasted better than most nice steak houses I’ve been to. I would always recommend monkey pod to people looking for a good place to eat with a nice environment and setting.More infoMonkeypod Kitchen - WaikikiPrice: Moderate• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Waikiki•4.7

Had the brussels & cauliflower appetizer and truffle gnocchi w/ shrimp and the marinara/alfredo "winter special" entrees - both very flavorful. Finished the meal with basque cheesecake. Our server Amalie (sp?) was spot on all evening!More infoGoen Dining + BarPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Kailua•4.8
- DDianeNew York State •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThis is not our first visit to the Hula Grill and will not be the last. This visit was for my husbands 60th birthday. I wish we were seated at the rail but table was just fine. The service and food were both perfect. The new bartender had trouble making a bay breeze, kept forgetting the pineapple, but they corrected it fast and without attitudes :-) grateful. I appreciated that the music playing was Hawaiian. We come to Hawaii almost yearly and Hawaiian music is what we want to hear when having a meal. So thank you Hula Grill for a great meal and great atmosphere. Was wonderful. Oh FISH “ALL” was cooked to perfection!More infoHula Grill - WaikikiPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Waikiki•4.6
