- HHeatherChicago / Illinois •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOur reservation was at 8:45 pm and it was not super busy. It was a fun, relaxed ambiance and we enjoyed the live music! The food was great for the most part. I enjoyed the macadamia crusted mahi mahi. The pizzas were good. Shrimp appetizer was only so-so (but our waiter did warn us it wasn’t the best thing on the menu - my daughter just really wanted shrimp). The service was great. I wish I remembered our waiter’s name because he was really friendly and engaging and deserves a shout out. I would definitely recommend.More infoMonkeypod Kitchen - WaikikiPrice: Moderate• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Waikiki•4.6

The service was thorough, empty plates were promptly cleared and water glasses were always full. The food proved to be some of the most delicious plates I’ve had in my life. Do not miss the Burmese Tea Salad or the Epaulette, both were some of the best bites I’ve had in a long time. Thank you FOH and BOH for working so well together and providing myself and my family with our best dining experience while visiting O’ahu!More infoThe Pig and the LadyPrice: Expensive• Vietnamese• Downtown•4.8

We got there during happy hour and were pleasantly surprised by the prices and number of items on the happy hour menu. It ends at 5:30 and lots of places end it at 5 so we started out with a good impression. She got the Kailua pig quesadillas and I got fish and chips. She ordered the green beans as well. Everything was delicious! Our waiter was friendly and was very familiar with the food and drinks on the menu. My cocktail was called something crush. Yummy! Overall a really great experience.More infoMerriman's HonoluluPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Honolulu•4.7

- MMartinChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWe got seats at the counter that which gave us front row seats to seeing how some of the dishes were prepared. We really enjoyed seeing that. It is probably best to pick the counter with fewer people but we did see a family of four that made it work. All the food was great and innovative, with a spin that made them unique and special. Would definitely go back when we are in town again. Highly recommend.More infoLucky BellyPrice: Moderate• Asian• Honolulu•4.7
