Very good chicken and cabbage salad. Whiskey sour was one of the best in town. Pretty good value for the quality.

In general it was a good night. It was crowded due to the day (Saturday). The waitress was excellent and the place looked cozy. The chairs are a little small but comfortable. The food was amazing and the desserts were unique. I would rate it as 4.7 out of five points. The only thing to improve is the price. A little too high for a small place with no buzz, I would say.

I didn't know what to expect heading into Nicosi, I only knew we had friends that had raved about it. My husband and I were blown away. We truly thought we'd left food *experiences* like this behind in NYC, where we lived for more than a decade. It's not that there isn't food just as incredible in San Antonio, but rarely is it turned into an entire experience on top of the food being amazing. If you're ready and willing to be surprised, indulged, fully wowed — Nicosi is for you. The food blew us away, the beverage pairings (both NA and A) were top notch, and interacting with the chefs and staff was nothing short of incredible.
