The staff are amazing . So friendly and accommodating.

We have visited Kendals a number of times and not only was it fabulous on this occasion, it has been consistently brilliant for years. The food is great , not overly manipulated , authentic french cuisine . The service is exceptional. Even when it's extremely busy everything is timely , perfectly served and of a great quality. Would heartily reccomend Kendal's to anyone.

This our regular go to place to eat ,we have been eating here for around 25 years and it’s still the best fillet steak . They have not changed the ingredients or cooking style in all this time .I don’t know why but their cauliflower cheese is the best ever I could bowls of it .The staff are part of what makes it a great place to eat always polite and there to help.

Another fabulous visit to Bavette. After last-minute cancellation meant a table became available, we seized the chance and booked dinner. As always, the food was excellent, the wine paired perfectly, and the service was at a nice pace to enjoy the evening. The staff are attentive but not overbearing, and the overall setting is wonderful. This was our last visit of 2024, and we are looking forward to our first visit of 2025!

Great, prompt (but not intrusive) service. Interesting menu and wine/cocktail selection. The humble pork chop I chose was outstanding. I also appreciate tables aren't closely squashed together, making the ambience relaxed and noise-levels not excessive, even on a Saturday night (when we dined)
