Best French Restaurants in Windsor

Our dinner was fabulous and the service was excellent. We asked for a wine reco and they let us do a tasting before deciding on a bottle. Our server was a local and really hospitable and took great care of us (thanks Rene!). We truly enjoyed our experience.

The cocktails, food , and ambience were excellent. The service was pleasant and thoughtful . But one wonders if the restaurant is slightly understaffed , as the waiter disappeared several times , and had to be flagged-down to request bread to accompany the delicious mussels, order a glass of wine to accompany the perfectly cooked scallops and duck confit , etc.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday at La Gare French restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience! The food was exquisite, the ambiance was elegant, and the staff were incredibly personable. The Beef Wellington was simply amazing, and the Duck à l’Orange was outstanding. The table-side flambé was a spectacular touch that added to the evening's charm. We couldn’t have asked for a better celebration!

The service from Grace and Riley was exceptional and friendly. The food was spectacular.

We visited Evangeline for brunch on a Sunday morning. The croque madame was delicious, the bread pudding was moist and without raisins, the coffee was hot and fresh and the fritto misto was tender, crispy and yummy. I was really surprised that we were the only ones there as I thought it was fabulous.
