Excellent Sunday lunch, great value and great service as usual 😊

I love the cozy, sophisticated elegance of Madeleine‘s bar. Good quality cocktails and wine. Polite staff. What I don’t like is the 12 5% service charge adding to our bill for drinks? I was also a bit annoyed at the waiter presenting the bill and then hovering over us until we paid.

My partner and I went to Orelle in Birmingham to celebrate a special occasion. We had an incredible experience, from being welcomed at the door, throughout the meal and on leaving. The cocktails, food and wine were high quality, and the service was also excellent. The ambience and the view are very special indeed. We will return there again.

Lovely muscles. Very plump and beautifully cooked. My mum had a nicely slow cooked beef cheek that just fell apart. Perfect.

I booked afternoon tea on line. I asked on that booking for no meat or fish for one person. I never had to remind them when we arrived. Another friend had also contacted them to ask for special dietary requirements separately - again no issues. The food was generous and good quality. A bottomless pot of coffee. Our waitress Hannah was particularly attentive and managed the tables well. Beautiful setting and spotlessly clean. Definitely recommend.
