- NNicoleSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review4.0Dined todayThe drinks came out very, very slow. The place wasn’t too packed and no line outside but they still passive aggressively were trying to push us out after 2 hours even after ordering more food and drinks. Food and drinks tasted amazing. The service not the best, needs work.More infoBon DelirePrice: Expensive• French• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.6
- JJudithVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •57 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe are not newcomers to Absinthe and we are always happy to be there . . . good food, excellent service in a lovely place in the heart of Hayes Valley. Today was especially nice. We had a lovely table in a corner with a view of the street through the front window. The waiter was exceptional and the food was fine. As old friends who hadn't seen each other in a while we enjoyed the quiet in the dining room, so nice to have a conversation. We were celebrating a birthday and exchanging Christmas gifts, our group having missed our usual holiday gathering for not so happy reasons. So we were delighted to be together and it was lovely to be able to sit and visit, unrushed in a place we have always enjoyed.More infoAbsinthe Brasserie and Bar - SFPrice: Expensive• French• Civic Center / Hayes Valley / Van Ness•4.8

- SStevenVIPNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoA very pleasant surprise. Not busy on a Friday night. Great menu, I wanted to order everything. Quiet, which is important to me. A could actually have a normal conversation with my wife unlike the crazy packed restaurants everywhere else. And the food was not only excellent - I had the rainbow trout, the lobster bisque and a doz oysters, the portions were large, the fish was cooked perfectly and the lobster bisque was to die for. Service was friendly and immediate. Nothing to complain about, only to commend. The prices were shockingly low, at least compared to the upscale seafood places we commonly dine at. This is a real find.More infoHyde Street Seafood House & Raw BarPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Russian Hill•4.2
