Best French Restaurants in Northwood

CORE is exceptional. We've been fortunate enough to have been to a significant number of Michelin 3 stars. We both agreed this is a top 5. It's hard to add anything meaningful to the prior positive reviews. I'll add a couple of items I haven't seen much in the reviews. First, my wife is a vegetarian and CORE accommodated that beautifully. Second, the price of CORE, is very fair, particularly when compared with other 3 stars. We both had the classic menu, drank a nice bottle of Malbec, had two cocktails and some cognac. The bill was less than $1,000 US. While that is still a lot of money for a meal, it's probably the least we've paid at the 20 plus 3 stars we have now been to. Finally, we were impressed that the founder was very visible and friendly to patrons throughout the evening. That's something we are increasingly seeing less of in 3 star restaurants. It was nice to be greeted by her as we walked by the kitchen. It seems ridiculous to give a review and not talk about the food at all. It is exceptional and I have no insights that other reviewers have not already provided. This is a 3 star restaurant in every respect.

Delicious food, great choice on the menu. Lovely service, thank you. Atmosphere perfect for a family lunch, grown up and smart, but v easy for kids to fit in (11-16).

I took my family out for a beautiful meal at Dolce Caffe. My mum couldn’t decide what to eat so we ordered both meals and shared them. The chicken was delicious and full of flavour, the meat was falling off the bone on the lamb shank. My sister is vegetarian and they were able to adapt the menu and create something extra special for her. Sadly they didn’t have the cheesecake in stock we wanted to try but the sticky toffee pudding was so light and fluffy. The staff always cheerful and give you a warm welcome
