Best French Restaurants in Hillsdale

The salads, cheese and chicolate fondue were wonderful. However the mahi mahi was fishy tasting and the filet mignon was gamey.

Very adorable, historical and cozy place. Loved the interior decoration and atmosphere here. Food is pretty good. We ordered the starter Tako “Escargot” and two entrees Loco moco and omelet. But our entrees arrived before the starter, which is weird, because we’d expect to have starter first. Overall loved the vibes here.

This was a wonderful way to share birthdays for 2 people. The waiter Alan was absolutley great, and really helped make the meal special. There were 4 and we got 4 different dishes, veal, elk, venison and wild boar. We loved all of it, the vegetables and either rice pilaf or whipped potatoes with lots of butter were outstanding also. The ambiance is great and we will definitely be back to try the other tantalizing entrees on the menu.

Our dining experience at The Plumed Horse was exceptional! We were a party of five and had the 4-course prix fixe menu, which was exquisitely crafted. For dessert, we shared the entire dessert menu, and every bite was a delight. The elegant ambiance and impeccable service made the evening unforgettable. Highly recommend it for a truly special night out!

We had a great evening and dinner out to bid farewell to our children who traveled home for the holidays. The Left Bank is a nostalgic place for us with many celebrations of milestones. We can always count on its consistency in delicious entrées, (we love the duck confit) wonderful cocktails and excellent desserts. Our server was very attentive, friendly yet professional.
