- CClaudioBaltimore / Maryland •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe didn’t know what to expect from Petite Cerise, it was our first time. Dinner was delicious, service was excellent and to be honest I can’t think of a negative thing to say. Prix Fixe menu is the best way to taste different options from the menu and don’t forget to try the Parisian Gnocchi, fantastic!More infoPetite CerisePrice: Expensive• French• Mount Vernon Square•4.7

Oysters were amazing. french onion soup was ok, but nothing special. I ate FILET MIGNON and it was really good. My husband had STEAK FRITES and said it was nothing special, not going to eat it next time. For the desert we ordered PROFITEROLES it was tasty and alot! - DDavidWashington, D.C. Area •9 reviews4.0Dined on 11 Dec 2024Opaline is a great choice if you want a lively after-work spot to meet. Tile floor and otherwise hard surfaces make the noise level pretty high. Bit of an own goal on my part for making a reservation to meet my sister and her husband for dinner here, as the restaurant wasn't really suited to a quiet evening of conversation. (It says "Bar" right there in the name, so I guess Reading is Fundamental.) We actually considered going somewhere else but glad we stayed because the food and service were both quite good. A fresh take on Caesar salad, a delicious just-right pappardelle perfect for a cold evening and a lovely dark chocolate cake for dessert.More infoOpaline Bar and BrasseriePrice: Moderate• French• Downtown•4.3
