The meal and overall experience was fantastic. Flavors were uniquely curated and matched together with amazing balance. The Catfish and Eel pairing was a delightful creamy smokiness with the feel of an elevated fish chowder. The Venison was fantastic. Cooked perfectly and paired with a tart cranberry sauce. My husband and I had a wonderful evening at La Cuisine Rademacher from start to finish. The food was all excellent, interesting dishes that were at once comforting and intricate. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive while leaving us space to enjoy our food and drink. We were pleasantly surprised by how quickly the entire evening passed. In sum, the food and beverage pairings were some of the best we’ve ever had, some even new to our palates, in a welcoming and warm environment. I would travel from Boston to Cologne again just for La Cuisine Rademacher.

There was no one at the host stand to greet and seat me for almost 20 minutes. Had to go to the bar and ask the bartender to get someone. After that initial issue, the food and service were lovely

It does not do complete justice to call Wackes a hidden gem, as it already exists at the same location for more than 30 years. I come here ever since, when I am in Cologne. Authentic Alsatian food at ist best, never been disappointed. I was a bit concerned as it was the first time i visited after the founder handed the restaurant to its new owners, but for no reason! Food quality and service are top notch! Thank you for the wonderful evening.

A delightful surprise of a gem in Cologne. Inspired and surpring cooking at a very high level. Wonderful, friendly service and a sommelier with a safe hand guiding us to spectacular, reasonably priced choices. I'll be back!
