We were in town for mini Valentine’s Day get away, with dinner at a restaurant we had frequented before. We were elated to find a French restaurant open for breakfast the next morning at 8am (will come back for dinner.) Had seen prior warnings and some complaints about shortness of staff, so we went with ample time in case it was an issue. It wasn’t an issue at all, but maybe we had set our own sights on slowing down? Server was more than accommodating, placing us by the fireplace (bonus when getting there at opening) and was available for us despite having all of the tables. My wife was very happy with her omelette leek, potato, goat cheese. I had Soupe a l’Oignon and Sandwiche Lyonnaise. I had read reviews suggesting more salt for the French onion soup, but I was happy it wasn’t too salty. Would order again. Sandwich combined lightly toasted bread that stood up to the thick cut bacon, eggs, tomato and fresh green. More than worth the price. Already bragged about Auberge to friends and family, so we definitely will be making a trip back for at least giving dinner a try.

We had a great valentines meal. Seemed like a good value as we left full and happy. Service was top notch. The only thing I would say is the restaurant was a bit too noisy. Acoustic engineering would be appreciated. We were near the kitchen, and it was a busy night. LIkely other parts may be quieter.
