- NNicolasToronto / Ontario •4 reviews5.0Dined on 11 Nov 2024On a cool, rainy evening, Le Baratin was the best place to be. Having not been in many years, taking my fiancé for her birthday was a great idea. The pre-fixe menu price point is solid considering how expensive everything is in this city. Their menu is small which is a good sign for me as I find there is more time and respect taken for each dish. The food was plated simply, seasoned perfectly, and cooked wonderfully. Pisalidiere, escargot, lamb shank, duck breast, poached pear, apple tart. Each dish, comforting and delicious. The wine list is classic in style with only a few well priced picks by the glass. A solid cocktail selection and a few good beers round out the drink menu. The space is small, warm, and very charming. The place was packed but didn't feel stuffy. Just a tad loud but not intrusive. I highly recommend going for those who want traditional French dining at an affordable rate. Bravo!More infoLe BaratinPrice: Expensive• French• Parkdale•4.8
- MMariaToronto / Ontario •6 reviews5.0Dined on 8 Nov 2024I love the French music that was playing during the early part of the evening before the restaurant started to fill up and the music changed to something more upbeat. And the beef tartar is a must. … Un petit de Paris à Toronto.More infoLapinouPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French• King West•4.6
