- MMannyVIPOrange County •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe have lived in San Diego for 4 years now and have tried many italian restaurants. We made the choice to celebrate Valentine’s day here and it has snuck its way into our top spot in terms of Italian in San Diego. The food was amazing, Ryan was our server and was super helpful all night and to top it off the owner and head chef Luciano brought our food to us, shook our hands, and continued to check in on us. A 10/10 experience with great food and amazing natural flavors across the board. We will be back plenty!More infoThe Red DoorPrice: Moderate• Italian• Mission Hills•4.7

The BEST uniquely paired and the best ingredients you can actually taste (like the butter and cream in their recipes). We ate each of the recommended items for soup, salad, entree, dessert & drink. We were NOT disappointed. I can't say enough on how delicious the food was and how you felt like family! We will be back every time we have Balboa Theater tickets. It is worth the traffic heading south on the 5 at rush hour to enjoy Tapas & Beer!More infoTapas & BeersPrice: Moderate• French• Downtown•4.9
- SStephanieChicago / Illinois •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoVisiting our daughter from Chicago for the week. Mister As did not disappoint. The ambiance, food and service was exceptional. Izzy was engaging and attentive to assure our dining experience was extraordinary. We were seated w a beautiful view of the ocean. Everything was brought out at a timely manner and we never felt rushed. Best Caesar salad w every leaf laced w dressing . The king salmon Wellington was unlike any salmon I’ve ever tried. The braised short rib was flavorful n simply superb (not fatty). The rack of lamb along w lamb stuffed cherry tomatoes was also delicious. There r so many fine restaurants in SD, but this by far one to revisit for us.More infoMister A'sPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Downtown•4.9
