One of our top favorite establishments in Houston. The waiters (we had Artan last night) are just excellent; food is also great (sole almandine and roasted lamb ribs); service is prompt and sharply done. Very attentive staff.

Everyone was very polite and respectful. It was very clean and quiet for a smaller venue.

A early lunch with friends was made most enjoyable by the tasteful decor and sound dampening ceiling installed in the Bistro. We were able to converse easily. The menu offered both light and hearty dishes. The potato and manchego cheese balls appetizer provided enough for three people. The French Onion soup did not satisfy the traditional expectations. Rather than brûléed cheese atop french bread, the cheese sank to the bottom. Flavor was good though. The entrees of trout, quiche Lorraine and chicken and artichoke crepes were delicious and well cooked. The mash of cauliflower and potatoes was served with a generous dollop of butter. The cold zucchini side was very tasty as were the chunky Bistro fries. The side salad was fresh but the oil was too strong. Acid or salt would have helped brighten the flavor. Staff was attentive without being intrusive. Prices were reasonable for an elevated dining experience.

Menu is well curated and highlights a region in the Mediterranean and each dish has a story. The food is impeccable. The evening starts in the lounge with a welcome snack. The dining area is smallish with open view of the kitchen Overall very worth it. Well deserved star. Will return again.
