A truly amazing experience, staff, service and food were all excellent. Could not fault a thing. Worth every penny and more!

The Country Living Magazine recommendation certainly didn’t disappoint. What an absolute gem. We had a superb evening. Faultless. The food was exceptional. Wine selection extensive. Service was fabulous. I would come back to Chester purely to revisit Covino!

Very friendly, helpful and efficient service in a pleasant venue at the intersection of almost traffic free streets. A fine variety of skilfully produced small dishes from a (sensibly) fairly limited menu. All the dishes were very well done, some exceptionally so. We had beer but the wine list looked interesting. It all made for a very enjoyable lunch.

The food here is excellent, and I enjoyed my time as a solo traveler. I'm always on the lookout for heart-healthy food, and although the menu falls short on that front (I could have asked for the food to be cooked with olive oil, but I didn't), the meal was fine. If I were to be in Chester again. I'd ask for that substitution, if they can accommodate that.

Our waiter was outstanding I didn’t catch his name but he was from S. Italy. He was very knowledgeable on the menu and helped us choose perfect meal. Great service. We had Mediterranean platter which was huge but very good value at £40 for two and we coukd t finish it
