My friend and I had a wonderful time at Hibou Blanc and would highly recommend it! The decor, ambiance and service were perfect t. The Christmas lunch menu is varied and good value at £35. The vol au vent followed by cod tasted delicious however the main course was a little cold. My friend enjoyed the vegan menu. Looking forward to going back!

We couldn’t fault the food . Our only criticism is that we weren’t offered any coffee & we couldn’t choose off the Christmas menu as there was only 6 of us .

We came on Wednesday afternoon for lunch. The food on a whole was very good. The only thing that let one meal down was the lettuce was wet and sloppy in the peach salad, everything else was gorgeous. Great service, really friendly staff. I would definitely return and recommend others.

A lovely warm welcome and a birthday card from the staff sitting on our table. The Christmas menu was varied and interesting but the standout plate for me had to be the herb crusted trout.Absolutely delicious and so beautifully orchestrated in terms of flavours, textures and presentation. On the down side the ice cream( cinnamon?) on my apple and almond crumble was very odd.Gluey and unpalatable with little to recommend it. More almond in the crumble would have been nice too. The fudge was “candy” like , sugary and grainy but I was still very impressed, as I usually am, with the experience that is Blackfriars.
