The welcome is always very warm, the food is excellent (both quality and variety), and the wide selection of beers well kept. It is equally lovely outside in summer or inside in winter. We have been visiting for many years and it is always superb. We absolutely loved our experience and could hear each other talking! We had wonderful service from the team. I loved my chicken wings and burger meal. My sticky toffee pudding was slightly dry/lacked sauce and moisture.
