- PPhilipKent •3 reviews5.0Dined on 15 Nov 2024Extremely welcoming; excellent food and service; expensive but you get what you pay for I don’t like background music most restaurants that I’ve been in have it - indeed once InCornwall we were the only diners at lunch and asked for the music to be turned off. The staff said they were unable to do this, but they could turn it down a bit, I suspect that a poll of diners would overwhelmingly ask for a quiet restaurant. I have not seen such a poll.More infoThe Poet at MatfieldPrice: Expensive• British• Tunbridge Wells•4.8

- AAidanDorset •1 review5.0Dined on 27 Oct 2024What a fantastic find. The moment we arrived we were warmly greeted by the bar and waiting staff. Very attentive throughout. A lovely cosy atmosphere as you would want from an English pub, Food choices were varied and suited all tastes and the standard of cuisine was very good. We live in France so for us this was a treat and we will be backMore infoThe Abergavenny ArmsPrice: Moderate• British• Tunbridge Wells•4.2
