- LLisaTampa / Central Florida West •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe ordered a red wine blend suggested by our server, Edgar, that paired perfectly with my husband's Bambino NY strip steak and my mariscos and pasta dish. I ordered the 1905 salad and he ordered the Caesar salad. The ambience, service, and price were excellent. The food however, was even more outstanding. I am a fantastic cook myself and we don't go out to eat very often because honestly we have better food at home than most restaurants. We grow most vegetables and greens, and process our own meat. The food at Columbia is worth a flight (from IL) to Clearwater just to eat there. I will be trying to replicate that seafood dish I ate. It was one of the few times where I wanted to kiss the chef! or at least find him or her and give him my sincere thanks. 5/5 for Columbia. We are planning when we can go back and take our whole family.More infoColumbia Restaurant - SandKeyPrice: Moderate• Spanish• Clearwater Beach•4.8
- DDeniseAsheville / Western North Carolina •19 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe have eaten at Columbia in St Augustine a couple of times and this was our first at the original restaurant in Tampa. It was a Monday night and we’re glad we had reservations because it was really busy. The interior of the restaurant was very beautiful and the walls showcased the history (from 1905). Jim, our waiter was great. Very helpful regarding the menu and sharing the history of Columbia. I had sangria to start and it was good. The Cuban bread and butter was absolutely wonderful. We didn’t order tapas because we knew the entrees were pretty large. We shared the Pollo Manchengo and Shrimp Gonzalo (not sure on the spelling). Both were good. We thought the Pollo had more flavor than the shrimp. The yellow rice was okay and the vegetable was broccolini, and was good. We finished with the bread pudding. Definitely enough for 2. It was very good. The restaurant doesn’t have good acoustics and is very loud….just from conversations. We also found that to be true in St Augustine. Prices were average, in the range from $28-48. Overall, we had a very nice meal and were glad we went. So much history both at the restaurant and in Ybor City. If you are in the area we would recommend giving it a try. We don’t get on the west coast of Florida very often but will definitely go back to the St Augustine location in the future.More infoColumbia Restaurant - Ybor CityPrice: Expensive• Spanish• Tampa•4.7

- JJamesNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThis was our first time dining at Spain Restaurant and Toma Bar. We ordered 3 tapas accompanied by red sangria. The food was all delicious. We had the steak and mushrooms tapa, the scallops and cheese sauce tapa and vegetarian paella. Service was welcoming and timely. It's a little noisy but that just adds positive energy. We would highly recommend!More infoSpain Restaurant & Toma BarPrice: Moderate• Spanish• Tampa•4.4
