Best Cuban Restaurants in West Flagler

We had a large group over for lunch on Sunday. The food and drinks were great. I loved all the tequila and mezcal drinks and my cousins were very happy with the mojitos. The cuisine was an eclectic Cuban-fusion with an international flair that was delicious. The service was impecable. I highly recommend it.

We were in Miami for one night only, having traveled here to catch a cruise ship. My husband wanted to visit a Cuban-themed restaurant to have that experience without having to dress up, as we were fresh off an airplane and the hour was getting late. In searching for a place to visit, we came across Havana Harry’s…the pictures of the food absolutely drew us in, especially the overdose milkshakes!!! A milkshake with cake on top?!?!??!!! Making a reservation was easy, and from the moment we sat at our table our server Dariem welcomed us as “family”. He was incredibly attentive and helpful in assisting us with dinner & dessert selections from a very expansive menu. Our cups never ran empty nor our needs unmet. INCREDIBLE dining experience with very generous portions. The food was cooked to perfection (the guacamole tartar sauce 👌🏾), and we left quite satisfied. On my first and only visit to Miami, this was a fantastic highlight. I will return at some point to explore the city more, and when I do, Havana Harry’s will be a mandatory stop. Highly recommend.

The food was excellent. The waitress was helpful and knowledgeable. There was live music - a guitarist-vocalist and drummer. We have been dining at La Rosa for 10 years on our annual stay in Miami the evening before flying to the Caribbean. They have remained excellent and we plan to return.

Excellent food and service. Will be my go to for Cuban cuisine.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this delightful gem of a restaurant, and I couldn’t have been more impressed. The star of the show were the dumplings, which were perfectly steamed, tender, and bursting with flavor in every bite. The mushroom and truffle fried rice was an absolute standout, with the earthy truffle elevating the dish to another level, while the mushrooms added a rich, savory depth. For dessert, the arroz con leche was a creamy, comforting finale to the meal, sweetened just right and with a subtle hint of cinnamon. The atmosphere was vibrant and enthralling, reminding me of a different time in Cuba. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure our dining experience was seamless from start to finish. To top it off, the drinks were exceptional—refreshing cocktails that complemented the meal perfectly. It’s safe to say I’ll be returning soon for another unforgettable dining experience!
