Best Continental Restaurants in Villanova

Quaint 1750's era stone Inn with a roaring fire, the ambience doesn't get much better as a retreat from a cold winter night. The service was impeccable. Prices while not inexpensive were within reason. My wife's peppercorn encrusted filet was perfect. My stroganoff was very good, but expecting more of a cream based sauce. Only minor complaint was that the accompanying bread selection before dinner consisted of two non descript dinner rolls.

Fitz on 4th is a gem in Old City. The service is friendly and attentive, yet subtle. Our meal was outstanding. Flavorful vegan for vegan diners as well as diners who just enjoy great food. Atmosphere is cool and pleasant with an arty vibe. This has been added to our "make this a regular stop" list.

This place is absolutely fantastic! The building is absolutely amazing The hostess and waiter were very nice And the food !!! I ordered the surf & turf. My steak was seriously cooked to perfection (medium rare) and the shrimp were big. It was a very nice dinner and a beautiful place.

I was there on 12-20-24 with a friend for lunch, and had such a good time that I came back with different friends for lunch yet again 😋

Great food and, the waitress made the experience memorable. She went up and out of her way to make our experience special. I highly recommend the corn beef hash and Chesapeake Benedict, all I can say is WOW! Great time.
