- JJoyGloucestershire/Wiltshire •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoI had a lovely afternoon tea at L'Escargot with a group of girl friends. It was raining heavily and they were able to accommodate us half an hour early, and we were made very welcome. The choice of teas was good, and we all enjoyed the ones we chose. The sandwiches, scones and cakes were also excellent, as was the glass of champagne that we decided to included. All in all, a lovely afternoon tea experience.More infoL'EscargotPrice: Expensive• French• Soho•4.6

- SSianLondon •2 reviews4.0Dined on 12 Oct 2024The overall experience was positive, however, despite booking, and the restaurant being nearly empty, things did not get off to a good start as my friend and I were placed at a table right next to a pillar when there were plenty of spaces, so we asked to be moved. This was done immediately. The service was fine and the servers were attentive and the food was good. I ordered a diet coke and was given a tiny bottle so had to order a second one half way through the meal. Usually a tall glass lasts me a whole meal. When the bill came I had been charged £5.50 PER BOTTLE! This is outrageous. I know that inner city rates are high but there is no justification for this. I did not make a fuss as the prices are not set by the waiting staff, but I won't be going back.More infoAtrio Restaurant and BarPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Waterloo•4
