Best Contemporary Mexican Restaurants in Greenwood-Coxwell

We’re not vegan or even vegetarian but thought we’d give this a try on a recent visit to Toronto. To start with, the service and the staff are outstanding. The host made sure that we weren’t chilled because of the front door and our waiter, Santana, was knowledgeable and informed about how the food was prepared, as well as the history of the cuisine.  He made recommendations,since this was our first time, and we loved every dish we tried.  The dishes were very creative, in part because it’s a vegan restaurant, but every one had complex layers of flavor. We would heartily recommend giving this restaurant a try.

The staff is always attentive and friendly. They really make you feel like you’re at home or back home since I’m from Mexico. The food is amazing, so authentic and delicious. We met the chef today and she was very kind and grateful that we go there often to enjoy the food. Martin is also a great host. We just love going there. Don’t miss it!

Outstanding chef's table experience! The food was so delicious and presented amazingly well! The cocktails and Cab Sauv were amazing as were the desserts! The service was perfect -- friendly, informative and attentive. Will be back and recommend strongly to everyone!

Great atmosphere, great food and great service!!!!

We went during happy hour and the prices were right and the food was fantastic. I had the cod tacos, which were incredible along with a very yummy margarita. It was the perfect place to have a bite to eat before seeing a concert at the Opera House.
