Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Belleville, Illinois

We have been to Lorenzo’s multiple times and it never disappoints. The service is outstanding, with multiple people attending to your table and they are all friendly and very attentive. The house salad is delicious with the pistachios as an extra little treat in your mouth with each bite. The shrimp scampi, arancini and toasted ravioli are our favorite appetizers. We like the risottos that they offer and several pasta dishes. It reminds us of an Italian restaurant we visited in Italy.

Had a great experience at Casa Don Alfonso last night, once we entered the resturant, was greeted by the manager, he was a jewel. Thank you for the warmth. The food was spectacular. Thank you. I need to come back and try your brunch. Had a great time. Thank you!

We have been going to this family’s restaurants for 50 years. They continually provide excellent food and service. My wife and I were there tonight. We have a fabulous meal. Instead of their excellent homemade meat ball for an appetizer, we had their goat cheese sausage flat bread. We followed that with a delicious spinach salad which was one of the best I have ever had (anywhere). My wife had their saltimbocca which was fabulous and I had their Rib veal chop which was terrific. The entire meal was outstanding!! If you have not been there, you are missing a wonderful fine dining experience. Thanks for all memories. Fred and Christine

It was definitely better than I knew; I’m not sure why I don’t hear abt this restaurant a lot. Everything was lovely! The staff were very attentive.
