Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Madison

We love Osteria Nonnino! Always cozy and welcoming (Vita), delicious food, and amazing wait staff (Enzo last night). We’ll be back again and again!

The appetizers were delicious and the fish special was perfectly prepared (sorry, I don't remember the name. The service was excellent, friendly and attentive.

If you arrive early the bar is fun and the drinks are “perfect”. The food is fabulous as is the service in a charming authentic stone built dinningroom

Enjoyed the restaurant. Ambiance was great and cozy. Food was delicious and service was superb. My only criticism is that they didn’t have the fillet so I ordered rib eye, which turned out just fine. Happens. Other than that, would highly recommend.

With great memories of meals at the Madison location a group of friends enjoyed a delicious dining experience again. Our server Dana was wonderful!! Patient, friendly and especially helpful answering our questions and making perfect suggestions. The burrata appetizer was a great start. The entire wait staff was very attentive anticipating all our needs. Our entrees included pork chops, filet mignon and filet mignon with crab cake. The full garlic bulb and bread dip was delicious. The white sangria a perfect accompaniment, too! Will make sure to leave room for dessert next visit....which will be soon👍
