Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Kaka'ako

Fabulous Italian restaurant and would be great value if paying in US$. Australia exchange rate very poor so made our meal very very expensive!

We came to watch the sunset and we heard they had great food. We were not disappointed, pricey but the food was really really good. If you’re ok with paying the money it’s worth it. Short rib was good and the oxtail pasta was crazy good. Cock tails are solid as well. Wines by the glass are geographically limited but the Tyler Chardonnay and the Chianti were very very tasty. Staff was very nice are server was always there when we needed something. We are thinking of heading back for another sunset with a bigger party before we leave the island. I was thrown off by the grilled Cesar salad. Never had a salad that was grilled before. It was a strange experience and the butt of the salad was still on so I’m not sure if they clean it well. None the less we still ate most of it as we were hungry haha but would probably not order it again

It was lovely, the atmosphere was great and the food matched the ambience. The owner was quite nice also.

We had a lovely anniversary dinner at Arancino at the Kahala. It began with a sincere welcome at the host desk and continued through dinner, ending with a beautifully crafted celebration cake, complete with congratulations from our server, Katharine, and the manager, Christopher. The delicious food - lobster bisque, pappardelle Bolognese, and the cacio e pepe prepared table-side - was accompanied by an accordion player whose set included both standards and Hawaiian music. We loved it! Impeccable service, outstanding food, and beautiful ambiance made this a memorable dining experience. As we left, several members of the staff wished us Happy Anniversary. Arancino at the Kahala knows how to make you feel special! We already have reservations for a return visit.

A fave of ours in Waikīkī! Quaint & tiny but cozy & fun. Absolutely delicious food for decent prices! Service is exceptional (Jamie is fabulous!) - the whole team is collaborative and helps each other out which makes everything seemless. Do yourself a favour and book a few reservations during your trip - you won’t regret it!
