Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Erlanger

Dinner was divine. Everything was wonderful! Food, cocktails, service!

We had lunch reservations for our 47th anniversary. We were immediately seated on arrival, and promptly greeted by our server Mark. He was happy to be part of our celebration, and shared his favorite recommendations on the menu. So many choices! We had spaghetti with Sunday Sauce, butternut squash ravioli, veal cutlets, salad wedge, freshly baked bread, and of course, wine. Everything was delicious. Some of the best food we have had at restaurants in Cincy in years. Our table had the branzino, the strip, the filet, and the seafood fettuccine dish. We ordered a risotto to share and bread service. Tiramisu and chocolate cake came at the end, and while we were very hungry after skipping lunch, almost nothing was left on a single plate at our table. Service was great and the vibe was good. Coming back for sure.

We had an excellent special occasion dinner (birthday) at Al-Posto in Hyde Park Square. The burrata and focaccia appetizer was especially good, as was the arancini appetizer. We had an early reservation just as they opened at 5 p.m., and this was wonderful for being able to hear each other easily. It didn't really start filling up and getting noisy until 6, when we were nearly finished. The service was attentive and very professional.

We had a great meal at Rosie’s. The food was delicious featuring all scratch made pastas and sauces. The service was outstanding as was the atmosphere. I would highly recommend giving Rosie’s a try. I definitely plan on eating there again soon.
