- MMaggieLondon •6 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had a fabulous evening at Namak. The food was delicious as always and the service was the best yet, being just attentive enough, giving us time to chat, choose and eat at leisure. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and there’s 25% off food in January so if you haven’t been bow’s a good time to try it. We will be back again!More infoNamak RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Indian• South Woodford•4.7
- GGurpreetLondon •2 reviews4.0Dined on 19 Dec 2024Overall good. I’d say some items are very overpriced, while others are more in line with what I’d expect for the area. Service was slow with a few forgotten drink a couple of times but everyone was very nice and it was quickly corrected. If I was trying to fit in a lunch in work hours I’d have been very stressed. As we were there for a relaxing afternoon I was unbothered. They were very accommodating of some of the group arriving at different times and adding a 5th chair on the end of a 5 seater table. Food is good, some creative starters. Not as many creative/original cocktail choices as I hoped. Not as memorably full of flavour as the similarly positioned (& slightly cheaper) Brigadiers round the corner. Would I go again? Yes, if not during lunch or under any time pressure, and Brigadiers is too busy to get a table.More infoChatora City RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Indian• London Bridge•4.7
- RRehenaLondon •3 reviews5.0Dined on 30 Nov 2024Lovely venue, although in the middle of no where in my opinion. Service was good as we had early booking. Starters was delicious, the venison kebab, the quails egg I would have preferred it to be a bit runnier in the middle when you cut into it. The sauce was great and good amount just right for the amount. The mix grill was a disappointment due to the small portion size, there was not enough flavour to this dish. The prawn purée was nice, please serve in a flat plate as it will be easier to eat than the round bowl we had it served in. Ambience was nice. Mains were ok the meat dish was not spicy enough as per details on the menu, the dhansak was lovely, the peshwari naan was yummy. The duck dish would be better to be cooked to one’s tastebud, I would have preferred this a little less cooked. Dessert- we didn’t enjoy in the way it was described on the menu, however the cake for the birthday was nice along with the other complimentary little pot we had.
