Best Contemporary German Restaurants in Nierstein

Great creative food, reasonably priced wines, attentive service, nice ambiance. Would definitely recommend. Portions in the a la carte menu seem a bit too huge. But all very well prepared. The tartar was a bit too heavy on the wasabi - could not really taste the meat. All other food - perfect!

Schrieder's is in the Hilton Heidelberg hotel, so it's convenient for those with a room. However, as hotel restaurants go, it was very nice with a charming atmosphere, comfortable furniture and good food. The service was most likely the best part of my rating. Our server was genuinely kind and experienced. Food was delicious, although there were not too many options on the menu, and it was also not available online. It was rather pricey but I am not too familiar with the area. Overall, a good option for anyone visiting Heidelberg

This was an excellent experience for the family on Christmas Day. The host Slim was very cordial and spoke English to us. The food was probably the best we’ve had in over a year. Wonderful pairings, meat that almost melted in our mouths it was so tender. I would definitely come back.

Excellent food and service in a comfortable, unpretentious setting. My Schweinebraten was so tender it almost needed a spoon. Even the accompanying carrots were cooked perfectly. My husband’s Rinderroulade was delicious also. We speak only a little German but the staff kindly used English with us. Wonderful meal to end our month of travel in Germany!

Nice restaurant, excellent food. From the restaurant you have a nice view on the river Main. Restaurant was pretty full for a Tuesday. Luckily I booked in advance.
