Best Contemporary French Restaurants in Baie-Orientale

Absolutely beautiful boutique setting. Food was amazing and the wine selection was top notch. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Only hiccup was that our table was located next to the pool hot tub (though you couldn’t see it due to a screen and plants). It was 7:30 and someone decided to turn on the jets in the tub so it was an accident unpleasant disruption and surprisingly loud for about 10-15 minutes. That was the only thing I would change about the evening.

We had a very nice dinner overlooking the water. The restaurant felt a bit crowded with a lot of tables very close together and the meal was over $300 with just one glass of wine. Lobster Thermidor at other places on Grand Case were not as costly but did not have the ocean views. One might say it’s worth the extra cost if you prefer an ocean view.

I had such a great time! The staff is so friendly and professional, food is delicious, cocktails are mouth watering and the show OMG, what a great surprise. I wasn’t expecting this to happen on Sint Maarten! Finally something different with class and a little cuckooness! Loved it and will come back for sure! Recommended 150%

This Resturant name has changed to Le Sud. Remy is and excellent server! The owner came up and said hello! Very professional outfit! We will be back. Food was delicious!
