Best Contemporary French American Restaurants in Outer Mission

Room temperature was a bit cool. Otherwise a pleasant experience.

My husband and I look forward to dining at Gary Danko for special occasions. We dined on Saturday Feb 15th (early dinner).This was our 4th time and every time the food is fantastic (best in the city) and the service is exceptional! What a great dining experience each time we have been there. On the menu, my favorite is the risotto. My husband favorite is the ahi tuna. As far as cocktails go, the espresso martini is a must have. So kudos to the hostess, bartender, and waiters! You are all 5 stars!

The food was fantastic! The service was fine, but I was disappointed that there was no room for customization, which led me to choose a different dish than I originally wanted. Not ideal, but the food was still very good.

The restaurant was amazing! It was beautiful for Valentine’s Day dinner date. The view of the bridge was a special treat! Our servers were very attentive and we let them know we had a time constraint but they never made us feel rushed. They just ensured everything came out in time and we were done on time. The food was excellent!

Amour Amour is the perfect cozy date night spot. We had a reservation for Valentine’s and the food and wine exceeded our expectations. The pork belly was excellent and we loved our wine choice (a Russian River Pinot, not sure of the name). Definitely try it out if you’re looking for an intimate date night that’s nice but not stuffy.
