- RRayLondon •8 reviews4.0Dined 6 days agoWe had an 8pm business dinner at Paris Bar on a rainy Wednesday evening and the restaurant was relatively empty, so a very nice table was immediately available. The French bistro look and feel is great. The steak frites was very good - the steak excellent but the fries not as fresh and crispy as they should be. The braised lamb was okay, but overcooked with skimpy vegetables. The service was irregular - a long wait for our drinks order, but very prompt with our food orders. The wait person was quite knowledgeable and helpful with wines. As others have commented, Paris Bar is new and going through its shakedown period. It's a sister restaurant of Trattoria dell 'Arte, so I'm sure any bugs will be worked out soon. It's a good choice for French bistro food near Carnegie Hall.More infoParis BarPrice: Expensive• French• Midtown•3.6
- CCherylNashville •1 review5.0Dined on 4 Dec 2024We’re in NYC to celebrate our 25th Anniversary and love to watch Alex on the numerous shows she’s competing on; judging; or hosting. The service was absolutely the best we have ever had (and since we have been in 47 states & 16 Countries) I believe that is remarkable. Food was delicious, perfectly prepared and seasoned, loved the decor and while I felt very underdressed (we had been out sightseeing all day and didn’t have time to dash back to our Airbnb to change) I never felt less than or looked down upon as we have in other upscale restaurants around the world when we have shown up for reservations without time to change into dinner attire. The only negative is that I do have food allergies and I asked for a side to be substitutes and was told that sides couldn’t. Which no big deal I just let my husband have that side. (I did not tell the waiter about my allergies in his defense). Overall I would definitely recommend anyone to experience Butter on their next trip to NYC and to be ready for an amazing meal!More infoButter MidtownPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Midtown West•4.6
