Best Contemporary British Restaurants in Gildersome

Our group of four really the whole experience at threes a crowd, the lovely level of chatter as d laughter created a very good Christmas atmosphere. The food was good as always, we all enjoyed our meals, my only slight criticism. I thought the turkey could have e been a little more moist, but overall a pleasurable evening, our guest had never been before. we all will definitely be returning

As usual the Ivy Victoria Quarter was consistent with my expectations and succeeded with a great atmosphere, wonderful food and attentive staff and particularly our waiter Stephen who was very kind and patient with our group. The little extras of Christmas crackers were also good quality and the restaurant felt very festive.

Excellent experience. The food was first class, beautifully presented, great ingredients, and wonderful flavours. A chef at the top of his game. The wine pairing was also really good (if a little expensive at £70 per person for no more than a bottle of wine each), but it certainly adds to the overall experience. The waiters were courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. We spoke to Chef Jono as we left which was great to be able to share our thanks directly with him and talk about his restaurant. HIghly recommended and will return at some point.

Great, prompt (but not intrusive) service. Interesting menu and wine/cocktail selection. The humble pork chop I chose was outstanding. I also appreciate tables aren't closely squashed together, making the ambience relaxed and noise-levels not excessive, even on a Saturday night (when we dined)
