Intriguing, interesting, different and a unique and imaginary plate presentation. We saw a U-Tube report on the Owner-Chef and the restaurant itself. We had to try it. We sampled 3 appetizers: Imperial Rolls, Steak Tartare and the Hamachi. All freshly made and tasty. Definitely Asian Fusion with contemporary American. The unique plates are difficult to describe for this traditional diner! Our two Entrees; a Duck Confit Special and the Slow Braised Short Ribs. Both excellent. For a wonderful meal and a very different food style the Black Sheep is perfect.

It was our first time eating here. Our daughter lives in Las Vegas and recommended the restaurant. The hostess was delightful. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and plenty. It's a little pricey, but it is to be expected. All restaurants in hotels at the strip are expensive. Compared to other restaurants Beijing Noodle # 9 was on the more affordable side. People complained about the noise in reviews. We did not have an issue with noise, although most tables were occupied. On our next visit in the fall we will return.

We had a late reservation (11pm) arrived 10 min early and were seated immediately. Service was excellent, no less than 4 individuals stopped by our table to make sure our experience was excellent. We had some apps, 3 sushi rolls and the salt and pepper shrimp. It was all fantastic. We will come again!

Menu intrigued me and so I finally made it over to Rang's for lunch. Was greeted instantly and shown to a prepared two-top. Atmosphere: A high-low setting; melamine plates, diner silverware on paper napkins alongside a stark neutral color palette, twisted napkin-shaped light fixtures, plants on black shelves, and sketches depicting Latin scenes. Music was pop-song covers. Food- Mushroom Soup ($9): Fine. Thinner broth type, with the mushrooms shredded rather than sliced. Croutons were good. Lengua Salpicao ($19): Tender slightly chewy cubes, loads of garlic, a touch salty. Presented in a dish which shape (purposely?) resembled its contents in original form, as did the three crostini. Would have preferred more baguette slices to scoop up the sauce and meat, but menu listed $3 for five slices, so abstained. Opera Cake ($9): Very pretty with a good mirror chocolate top. Delicate chocolate and coffee flavor. Can of Sprite was $3. Value: Varies; might seem a trifle high for some menu items, but good for the more unusual offerings. Service: Very friendly.

The food was amazing! The whole experience was very good, only hiccup was there was there was only one bartender for a packed house so drinks came out a little slow, but other than that food came out fast, and was very good. Upscale dining experience for sure and the food reflected that. The New York steak was to die for, perfect sear on both sides, perfect medium rare and seasoned amazingly. the king crab truffle fried rice might have been the best thing on the menu, had bits of truffle in the rice so no truffle oil used. Great experience and you should go sometime.
