Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Madras

We dine here often: - nice atmosphere - down to earth staff - weekday specials - menu changes seasonally - great outdoor patio (think spring) Had the Thursday spaghetti and meatballs special. Huge meatballs and fresh marinara...yum! We also enjoy their other restaurants... Drake and Mountain Burger!

Food was excellent, service was okay. It was pretty quiet in there and our server seemed like she was in a rush to move on or something. Just not very attentive and seemed distracted. We had indicated on our reservation we were going to the restaurant for a date night. We were sat right below their speaker that was playing music and it did distract from the evening. Again, the place was pretty empty so it wasn’t the only table available. We will give another chance in the future due to the food being outstanding and hopefully will have a better service/atmosphere on the next visit.

What a lovely evening. The food was outstanding. They have a new chef and what a difference! We will be back soon.

The 3-course Christmas Eve meal was fantastic! Served family style, so you had control over portions, each course was tasty and beautifully served. And everyone had choices for every course. Kudos to the Brasada staff for an outstanding experience!

Food seemed a little lacking in flavors. Calamari was bland as was fish and chips. However, Chowder was great.
