Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Castle Pines

It's been several years since we've been to a Maggiano's. This was not the experience we used to have. It was so much better. Our waiter, J.D., was also our Sommelier. He was engaging, fun, really knew his wine, and the wines he had to offer. His recommendations were perfectly paired with our dinner selections and so much so that we will buy some for our meals prepared at home. In addition to the pairing, the wines could stand alone and be enjoyed even if all you wanted was a glass to sip on. With respect to the restaurant itself, the noise level was such that you couldn't hear the table next to you and yet conversations at the table were made in a normal conversational volume. The food was portioned well and extremely tasty. A far cry from what we remembered from years ago. We will be back for more.

Nathan was an awesome server this visit. The kitchen was backed up so food was delayed but we had plenty of time and still really enjoyed our visit- we will be back!

We had a great experience at Acova this evening. First off, I was very impressed with their reservation system. I initially made the res. Online for early this evening but due to a change in plans had to push it back. I called the restaurant knowing it wasn't open yet and that it might not get answered. I left a voicemail requesting the new res. time. I assumed I would need to call again later in the day to confirm the change but within 3 minutes I received a confirmation email with the res. change (still before the restaurant was even open for the day). Our server was amazing! We brought our two young kids and she was very engaging and accommodating (getting kids food in first, split plates, etc.) She had great menu knowledge and didn't steer us wrong with recommendations. Food was delicious, cocktails were amazing! We'll definitely be back! Menu recommendations: spicy mezcal margarita, beef short rib risotto, crab cakes ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The chicken pot pie was delicious, big enough to feed two people. French onion soup had plenty of onions done just right and we liked the entree sized house salad. A great lunch for two people priced under $55 including the 4% surcharge for back-of-house staff. The vibes from staff— servers, expediters, hostess and bartender — were all very positive

Great atmosphere, food was amazing! Will definitely be going back!!
