The Highlight Room’s real showstopper is the spectacular view of the city through a glass wall that spans the entire width of the room and folds back to allow access to the outdoor terrace. Staff was friendly and all looked like they were enjoying their time while working. (Our waiter, bar tender, hostess and kitchen staff) That’s always a positive thing to see as it translates into the service. Portions were adequate (not too small not too large) which I appreciated as someone who will easily over indulge! Food was delicious! Appetizers (arancini) entrees (pizza, Chicken parm, penne and vodka sauce and gnocchi) perfectly cooked pasta! Our waiter Novastro, was kind and helpful Abe even gave us a slice of cheese cake at the end which was kind! The espresso martini was also awesome and I can’t forget to mention the focaccia bread. I would definitely come back! Little gem in little Italy!

Katherin C was our waiter. She was so lovely and attentive and made our anniversary dinner so special. But her interactions with other table were just as wonderful as ours. What a wonderful employee you have. The food was outstanding and the venue stunning with all the greenery and lights. Definitely worth a visit. Food was priced very affordably as well.

We always have a great time at Bar Contra. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Small plates from wild air are delicious and the cocktails are creative and there is something for every one. Theo is the best! We always try to sit at the bar when him and his colleague are there, usually on Fridays. Will be coming back repeatedly
