- DDinavipOrange County •54 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe celebrated my friend's birthday at 230 Forest today. We sat outside on their beautiful patio and enjoyed the great weather and perfect food. We ordered fish tacos and the candied walnut and salmon salad. Pure deliciousness all around! The service was excellent and attentive. I have dined at 230 Forest since 1998. I love it every time! I highly recommend this Laguna Beach treasure.More info230 Forest AvenuePrice: Moderate• Californian• Laguna Beach•4.9

- DDebbieHouston •8 reviews4.0Dined 5 days agoI ordered a wedge salad to go after my lunch and it was smaller than the salad that is served at the table. I asked for egg on the side and received no egg. Small issue for overall good lunch, but attention to detail was an important.More infoTruly PizzaPrice: Moderate• Pizzeria• Dana Point / Monarch Beach•4.8
- SSaravipLos Angeles •17 reviews5.0Dined on 3 Nov 2024Amazing little gem for lunch! $17 per glass of wine, adds up quickly to $50 for three glasses ( fair warning! ) We chose the Maverick wine which was fruit forward. Red and delicious, about $65 USD. The food was art on a plate. My friend had a large mozzarella ball drizzle with balsamic over her pesto chicken sandwich. I also recommend the truffle fries with Parmesan if you're going to have the burger. It was a satisfying lunch and we were glad to take a nice long walk with the scenic view afterwards to pop into some surf shops.More infoRancho Capistrano Winery - San ClementePrice: Moderate• American• San Clemente•4.8
- RRonaldOrange County •2 reviews5.0Dined on 28 Oct 2024We didn’t even know the place existed until we ordered several dinners thru Door Dash. We decided we had to go to the restaurant to see where it was and what was it like. We were pleasantly surprised. It’s located in the San Clemente Inn that in the 70s was where the Nixon support and news groups would stay. The decor of the restaurant hasn’t changed, and it’s neat to see the “retro” 70s surroundings. The service was excellent. I had the salmon and my wife the filet mignon. Both were excellent. The menu is limited but adequate, and they are working on expanding the wine selection. We were surprised that the restaurant was almost empty on Sunday night. That reflects the lack of publicity since we have lived in San Clemente for 35 years, and even if it has only been open for two years, we and our friends didn’t know it existed. Maybe consider it “ a diamond in the rough”. Great place and easy parking. Worth a try.More infoRivieraPrice: Moderate• American• San Clemente•4.5
