Best Californian Restaurants in Linda Vista

Very pleasantly surprised that with the restaurant being almost full, noise level was not at all a problem. Service was excellent, fast and we did not have to wait long for the next course. My son-in-law and I are picky eaters but we had not just sumptuous meals but appetizing looking as well. From the starter salads to desserts, I the experience as an overall 5 stars.

My wife and I enjoyed a peaceful lunch before the Thanksgiving rush, a moment to savor. We delighted in their NM Burger and fries, enhanced with avocado and bacon, truly a feast for the senses. Our meal was beautifully complemented by a warm cup of chicken consommé and the irresistible pull-apart popovers with strawberry butter—a reminder of life’s simple joys. The NM Cafe Team consistently uplifts the experience. We were warmly welcomed by Jorge, and Edger, our outstanding server, made us feel right at home. We wrapped up our meal with a delightful Cortado crafted by Rosario, the perfect finishing touch. All in all, our experience was filled with gratitude and joy, and we look forward to returning soon.

OUTstanding from start to finish! The decor and ambiance made me so darn happy. It was a golden, gaudy, Christmas explosion and I loved every second of it. Drinks were great and food was incredible. Our server Tommy (I think) was attentive and helpful. We got the Caesar salad, the house salad, the roasted chicken and the short rib. The Caesar salad and short rib were our favorites. We waited a long time to finally make it in but we’ll be back in the spring for a new round of decorations. It’s just so good.

Unmatched hospitality! The server was knowledgeable about the food and able to describe them well. We didn’t have great luck with the clams, they were very chewy & overcooked but the broth was delicious. They took it back and a sweet manager, (I’m forgetting names) sent a hamachi that was to die for! Everything else that hit the table was delicious and we were very impressed. The bubbly and celebration desert was super appreciated as well. Honestly made my birthday dinner feel extra special, some places really don’t go the extra mile but they sure know how to impress.

The ambiance here is so unique and beautiful! Airy, romantic, stylish and peaceful. And they let us bring our puppy. The food is simple but tasty and the value is one of the best in the city! We have been many times and will continue to come for brunch OR dinner! Today I loved the chai latte and white bean shakshuka. I always bring out of town guests to show it off.
