Best Cafés in Van Nuys

Literally the best experience ever! My boyfriend and I found out about this about a week ago, and we were so worried we wouldn’t be able to get in; but we got there and saw that they took walk-ins, and that others who were walk-ins were getting seats! And we ended up putting in a reservation for about 30 minutes later anyway just to make sure, which was huge because they were PACKED with reservations throughout the entirety of the event. But everybody, the servers, the other customers, were SO nice! The environment was amazing, and everyone was so kind and supportive with the punching bag machine <3 it was SUCH AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE.

It was my fiancé and I first time here, the wait staff were amazing and very attentive. We waited very little time for our food after ordering. The food was amazing! We will definitely be back! Thank you to all the staff for such a great experience!

I took my 2 adult kids here for valentine lunch and it didn’t disappoint! I’ve dined there before but my kids haven’t and they loved it! Amazing French onion soup (my daughter’s favorite is here- we always rate our French onion at LA restaurants. ) Our server was sweet and attentive. We had the scrambled egg and goat cheese it was delicious - my daughter enjoyed the French toast. What a sweet day we had! Thank you! We will put lunch here in the rotation. Btw, dinner here is really nice as well!

We had a great time here for my boyfriend’s birthday on a Wednesday night! They didn’t provide anything special, but that’s ok. We didn’t expect anything special. Seemed like it was comedy night so it started getting louder as the night went on but overall was a good experience. We ordered the burger, shrimp basket, and mac&cheese. Surprisingly yummy! Weed is good and it’s cool that you can smoke openly. The only downside is if you’re downwind of someone also smoking and you get hit in the face with someone else’s smoke, but that’s expected. Our waiter was friendly and not overbearing, answered our questions and came around enough to make us not feel neglected. I can imagine it getting a bit more difficult to get your food in a timely manner or waiving down your waiter if it’s super busy. Other than that, highly recommend for a fun night out especially on a week night to avoid crowds!

The food was amazing! Now one of my favorite burgers in LA! Highly recommended!
