Best British Restaurants in Lochwinnoch

We are regulars at the MacMillan, tend to go every month or so. Recently went down to try the Festive Menu & can’t fault our experience. The Chicken Liver Parfait starter is always a hit then leading on to the Roast Beef/Turkey dinner, it was amazing. The team go above & beyond every time we are in the restaurant and we can’t thank them enough.

The service was very fast with our feeling rushed, the staff were very friendly and definitely on it. The food was amazing and was definitely worth the money! I would most definitely eat here again. The venue was very beautiful and I just want to say the female toilets! I’ve never seen anything like them! As soon as you walk in you’re welcomed with a really nice floral smell and each toilet cubical has its own sink. No complaints at all!

Amazing Christmas even dinner with the adult children. Superb atmosphere and amazing food from the set menu. Staff delightful with excellent attentive service . I’m booking my next night out there for sure !

Really lovely setting, fabulous staff, great with the younger members of our party. Food was fab, really prompt service. At Christmas time it can be difficult finding somewhere that manages to provide good food and service, the Stravaig pulls it off. Only slight criticism was the noise levels were hard for my elderly mother as there was quite a noisy party next to us. Overall 5 stars and we’d definitely return.

Great meal at Church on the hill. Our server Marie was brilliant and very knowledgeable on the menu items plus was just a really friendly person. We'll definitely be back soon.
