Great food, slightly high prices considering we had to buy sides for a main meal to actually make it a dish. We did however, find it very cold in the pub, especially having to have the door open to help ventilate whilst the fireplace was on.

A lovely resturant on the harbour in Charlestown Cornwall. A little gem for seafood but also offers alternative choice and a special’s board. I can recommend the New England Chowder as a main but there are plenty of appetising dishes to choose from as well as the catch of the day. Very pleasant atmosphere and a pleasure to see families catered for. If you have a pooch then they are welcome as well. Many thanks Springtide we had a lovely evening 4/1/25

Tried The Longstore after it was recommended by a colleague. First impression was great, a large woodburner keeping it warm, comfortable chairs and a very nice staff. Although the music was to our taste, it was a tiny bit too loud but they happily turned it down a notch on request. The food was outstanding. We had scallops to start, then Rib Eye steak. I asked to have an extra salad rather than the bits that came with the steak and I must say it was the most delicious salad I have ever had and a massive portion too! I hardly ever tip, but today they got a well deserved 10%. Definitely going back!

Had such a lovely time for my birthday, the team working in the restaurant and bar were probably the most professional, knowledgeable and friendly team working anywhere I’ve been for dinner in a very long time , as well as the team at the tartan fox. It makes such a difference and we really appreciated how kind they all were. Thankyou for a lovely evening. Hopefully We’l be back soon, emma PS our waitress was amazing definitely an asset to the team :)
