- JJenniferLos Angeles •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis is my favorite restaurant to go to breakfast for a matinee at Pantages. The food is always tasty, the coffee is great, but it’s pretty noisy downstairs. I’ve never eaten upstairs so I don’t know what the sound level is there.More infoThe Breakfast ClubPrice: Moderate• Breakfast• Hollywood•4.4
- KKimVIPLos Angeles •16 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAs per usual, before going to a play at the Ahmanson Theatre, we had a great tapas and unlimited Sangria meal at Bacari Adams. The service was excellent, the food was great and the beautiful Winter Wonderland decor really put us in the holiday mood!!More infoBacari AdamsPrice: Expensive• Italian• Downtown•4.7
- LlorraineVIPLos Angeles •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe were celebrating the marriage of our son and now daughter-in-law with a large group. Casey was our server/also manager who couldn't have been more attentive and gave us great service! The vegetable plates were winners including the delicata squash, brussel sprouts, mujadara and rainbow beets. My favorite dish was the scallops. The chicken sliders and shwarma (made vegan for the bride) were OK. The biggest disappointment was the sea bass which was a bit dry. However, it was overridden by the fabulous overall experience. At the end of our meal the server brought complimentary glasses of champagne for the six of us, and complimentary bread pudding and date cake which were both delicious! I highly recommend Bacari or a great time!More infoBacari W. 3rdPrice: Expensive• Italian• West Hollywood•4.8
- AaltheaVIPLos Angeles •22 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoI have wanted to eat at Poppy & Rose for years! Many times when I pass by on the weekends it's packed so I keep moving. I decided to make it a date and go try the food that I've heard so much about. I have also seen the Chef Michael on some of the food competitions, that I am obsessed with! To my delight, I did not order what I expected to, the waffles & fried chicken. Instead I ordered a la carte chicken sausage patty, half of an avocado, and the joyful surprise.. the biscuit! Listen, I am a biscuit Aficionado and I tell you a biscuit is good it is good. But this biscuit was better than good, it was heavenly. It was an orb of a whisper tender homemade angel biscuit with crispy, flaky, delicious layers that were so good I had to take almost an hour to enjoy every morsel. And the homemade Berry Jam was no joke either... incredibly delicious. Believe me when I tell you that if it had not cost me $30 for a half dozen biscuits I would have taken a half dozen home. My body thanks me for not doing so but boy I have been thinking about those biscuits ever since. I have had many biscuits around the city and in markets but I promise you Poppy's is the very best I have had . I promise you it is only with great restraint that I don't go over there right now and order at least three to bring home for breakfast tomorrow. Oh, and by the way, my lunch partner said his smoked beef sandwich was divine. I will definitely be back.More infoPoppy + RosePrice: Moderate• American• Flower District•4
