We've been here a few times over the last few months and the elevated booths are adorable and a fun place to sit IF THEY WOULD ONLY turn down the speakers mounted directly over each table to a volume that isn't deafening. We were told that in order for the bar crowd to hear the music they keep the volume at a level which makes it impossible to have a conversation at the table under short ceilings with a chunky speaker pointed downward directly overhead of booth diners. The first time we visited was during the holidays and we chalked it up to big crowds/noise but even our waiter commented that it was really loud. We visited again on a quieter night last week and while the crowd was not big, the music was ridiculously loud. This time our waiter made a similar comment about how loud it was and offered to ask "them" to turn it down before we even asked. Oddly right in the middle of our meal, he came over and said he was being sent home and no one else (except the bartender when we waved him down) attended to our table. This place just doesn't seem to get that it's about the customer. Ex. Each time they said they turned it down, they clearly didn't. Each time we asked for something most restaurants would view as a simple request - like a side of veggies that is on the menu with other meals, they won't accommodate because they've only counted a finite number of green beans or whatever and they must only be served with the pork chop etc. Silly and so very unaccommodating. The customer isn't always right, but the customer is always the customer, and these customers are done trying with Parker & Quinn. They just don't get it.More infoParker & QuinnPrice: Moderate• American• Midtown West•4.5

Not only was the food amazing- I highly recommend the short rib pasta- the staff were attentive, got us in early (thank you!) and the entire start to finish meal was out of this world. We will absolutely be back when we are in the city again!More infoSerafina Times SquarePrice: Expensive• Italian• Theater District•4.2

Definitely on the smaller side and we did have to get up a couple times for others to get past for the restroom but we didn’t mind. Prices were reasonable and we even got a free dessert for a guests birthday. Overall a perfect dinner after a broadway show!More infoThe Blue Dog Cookhouse And BarPrice: Moderate• American• Midtown West•4.5
