Best Bistros in Elmwood Park

Really great. Chill vibe on a Tuesday night but the restaurant is beautiful and the menu is as close to perfect as it gets for American cuisine.

The Date Night menu is perfect. Solid choices, great value. We go a couple of times a year to this friendly little place.

Went to Cafe Touché on a friend’s recommendation. Really glad we did. I have probably hit every French restaurant in the northern Chicago land area in search of the perfect place. There a few I like, but there was always something lacking from the menu or of just average presentation from l what I wanted. That changed last night with the first of many to come visits to cafe touché. Every classic French dish you could want with very generous portions and a really cool atmosphere. The place was packed, which is always a good sign,and the service was excellent. The drinks generous as well. I only wish i discovered it long ago, but better late than never. Already excited to return. Well done!!

Live music background guitar playing oldies was very pleasant and not too loud. Prime rib (fri/sat special) that the waiter Kyle said was ‘excellent’ or ‘wonderful’ was rather tasteless and thin cut for $48 - disappointing after the buildup. Kyle was a great waitperson. Be careful as they add a 20% tip into the bill before they give it to you.

We have just recently started going to La Norte in Oak Park. So far, we’ve been there 4 times in the last month. Their food and service are exemplary. We will continue to go there often. We keep asking ourselves why we didn’t go sooner!!
