- MMikeWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe had a group of four and everything was devine. Mushroom risotto was smoky and creamy, the mussels in curry sauce was perfect. One in our party had the halibut which was flaky and poached perfectly. We had the steak tartar and French roll as appetizers and the bacon butter was unexpectedly flavorful. The staff was attentive and prompt. We also had a visit from the manager and that was a nice touch. Thank you Belga Cafe for a wonderful meal and a fantastic evening.More infoBelga CafePrice: Moderate• Belgian• Capitol Hill•4.7

But the food is stand out! It’s priced as you would expect a high-end restaurant in DC. I would recommend it to anyone. Beautiful restaurant decor as well. Great spot for lunch. The lamb pie was like the one we had in Ireland, crust was flaky good. Brisket sandwich was fantastic too. Service was great; beer was good. And just loved the whole ambience.
