It was my husband birthday and we always have fish and chips on the coast! So had them for the first time at Scomas!! Delicious!! In one simple word, our impression was that the food was outstanding! Starting from the first course, the Pickled Seasonal Veg, Apple & Parsnip soup, the Fall Salad and the main entre, we devoured the food. Four out of five of us had the 6 oz, Bardo Burger, which was delicious. Incidentally, we noticed only one dish based on fish, with hardly any sea food in the menu! The service was good! The food itself was super tasty and there were plenty of vegetarian options. We had Castelfranco (subbed vegetarian dressing); Scarpetta; Arancini; Tortino; and my favorite the Tortelloni. The bartender/waiter was helpful with the menu. My companion has been to Afghanistan, photographing the people, documenting the culture over a 20 year period, so she was especially pleased to find this spot.
