- JjessicaOttawa •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoEverything was excellent. Server and kitchen went above and beyond to accommodate dishes to suit a table for one, although they weren’t asked. I can’t wait to go back!More infoR&D Restaurant - TorontoPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Asian• Chinatown / Kensington Market•4.7
- JJamesToronto / Ontario •1 review5.0Dined on 24 Dec 2024I don’t post reviews often, but the chef deserves a genuine compliment. The restaurant’s ambiance, experience, and food were all excellent unlike some of the reviews you may encounter. But here’s the most important part - despite the fact that the menu focuses on the fusion of cuisines, I encountered an authentic falvour of “home”, which is Korea for me. The chef is Korean who trained in Japan and aims to serve a unique Asian cuisine in the diverse and competitive market of Toronto. His maki roll “The Hot Mess” underneath its exquisitely savory and spicy sauce, I was met with the flavoured rice that took me right back to the elementary school days in Korea when I shared kimbab rolls with classmates on field trips. Thank you for a great experience and taking me on a trip back to my childhood!More infoAkira BackPrice: Very Expensive• Asian• Entertainment District•4.8
- MMarkToronto / Ontario •2 reviews5.0Dined on 20 Dec 2024I had lived in Toronto for many years before moving away from the city. Had to come in a few days for work and decided to visit DaiLo with a friend. Why did I rob myself of this experience for so long? The food was 5-star! We ordered the wontons, pork hock, tacos, and the smoked duck. Every dish hit its mark perfectly with well-balanced flavors. The ambience of the restaurant is very nice and it isn't a place that packs restaurant goers elbow to elbow. Lastly, the service provided by the staff rivals the quality of the food.More infoDaiLoPrice: Very Expensive• Asian• Little Italy / College St.•4.8
- AAlishaToronto / Ontario •5 reviews5.0Dined on 20 Dec 2024I’ve been to Ultra several times and the food, service and drinks are phenomenal. Most recently, I was there for supper with a group to celebrate a friend’s birthday and for the most part it was wonderful. Unfortunately, we seemed to be surrounded by several tables of ‘influencers’ who were constantly wondering in and out of the Gold room, taking constant photos and worried about their hair, makeup and wardrobe. It was extremely interruptive to us an other tables (considering the money we were paying for supper and drinks).More infoUltraPrice: Very Expensive• Pan-Asian• Yonge and St. Clair•4.7
- TAToriAToronto / Ontario •2 reviews4.0Dined on 5 May 2024The value for what we had was outstanding - sashimi dishes were very fresh, very nice quality, and the rolls were delicious. The karaage was great as well. We ordered around 8:45pm and several dishes were sold out: all of the wagyu dishes, the spring rolls, and the hapa pockets; the sushi bites sold out after our first order, so when we asked for a second we weren’t able to get more. Sapporo on tap was great. Half of our party doesn’t drink and the mocktails were delicious. It was extremely loud inside - I think if you want a quieter meal, try to get an earlier seating, toward the back of the restaurant. Our server was lovely, but service was a bit slow at times. Over all, a good experience for a fun relaxed atmosphere.More infoHapa Izakaya - TorontoPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Little Italy / College St.•4.6
